Just hanging around...

This is the World’s biggest hanging basket, it’s been put up outside a hotel in London. The picture is from The Daily Telegraph.

The 20ft by 10ft basket contains over 100 different varieties of plants and flowersand has been nicknamed 'The Hanging Gardens of Paddington'.

The basket weighs over a quarter of a tonne and it took over three weeks to make and eight hours to winch into position.
It hangs 25 ft from the ground outside the new Hotel Indig in Paddington.

Karin Nielsen, the hotel’s spokesperson said: "the new hotel is all about unique design, bold colours and seasonal changes, so what better way to mark its arrival than by creating the world's largest hanging basket?”

The designers took their inspiration from the Hanging Gardens of Babylon, and they say they hope their hanging garden will become a wonder of London.

You’d be well advised to stand clear when it’s being watered!

The topic was hot tonight "On The QT" with lots of you offering your opinion on welfare fraud... here's a selction of them:

• Im living with my partner and 2 kids. And dont claim. I tried 2 claim 4 my kids on my tax. I was told that i culdnt cause we were classed as married so i tried 2 claim 4 my partners tax allowance and i couldnt do that cause were not married. Hows that fair? Keith.
• Married people are being discriminated against .scrap the lot and chase absent dads . From ed
• No i would not. I'm unmarried but living with my other half. We cannot afford for me to work and have our two children minded. We get refused all the assistance for families because we are unmarried and yet I cannot claim unemployment benefit because I am living with someone. It drives me mad.
